To say we are impressed is an understatement - great organisation, fantastic routes, and great hospitality and craic made this a very exciting day - and already 2018 is on our agenda and conversation Posted by Irene on 01 September 2017 Many thanks for your comments Irene - we are so pleased you all enjoyed your day. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2018! Posted by Pat Ross on 02 September 2017 Return Visit Looking forward to the 25 mile route, a fantastic example of all that's best in Scotland's mountains. I once did the Fisherfield Six and vowed to return to this super area, now have the perfect excuse. Roll on August 12th. Posted by Patrick on 17 July 2017 I am sure you will enjoy the event and have a great day. We will try and ensure good weather and no midges!!!! Posted by Pat Ross GWC Secretary on 18 July 2017 You possess those powers?!! Posted by Angus Maciver on 27 July 2017 If only we did!!! Posted by Pat Ross on 27 July 2017 This is Something Else! How does you folk up the West do it? Anywhere else there would be major panic when confronted by severe weather problems, and 100s of competitors. But you Poolewe folk are cool as a cucumber and everything just happens so easily. No fuss, just know-how. Thanks for everything and hope for better weather next year Posted by Thomas on 19 August 2016 Everyone Up For It Amazed at the relaxed ambience of this fantastic event! Nobody panics despite having to make wholesale changes for safety - well controlled with cheerful banter all round - especially at finish line! PDB - Pure dead brilliant Posted by Karen and Len on 16 August 2016 Years of practice and many grey hairs later we have learned how to cope, and hopefully put competitors at their ease. Glad you both enjoyed it Posted by GWC on 17 August 2016 View All Posts, Ever! (Could be a long page!)
